Introduction: There are many compositions prepared using Ashwagandha herbs which are useful for a wide range of body disorders such as joint disorders, increase of memory, Anaemia, Asthma, cough and many internal diseases.

• Aswaganbdhadi Lepa: A paste like form (Lepa) of Aswagandha, and some others (adi) that includes Licorice, Katuki (Piccorhiza kurroa), Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia) and few more.

• Aswagandha rasayana: A simple but very much effective formulation of Aswgandha, that works for rejuvenation (Rasayana) for the body. The Aswagandha powder to take with milk, ghee, oil or lukewarm water.

• Ashwagandha taila: A oil (taila) formulationof Aswagandha, that is for increase of mass, when applied locally. It is hioghly nutritive. The composition includes Aswagandha, Asparagus,Kusta, Jatamanshi, Kantakari.

• Aswagandharishta: Alcoholic preparation(Arista) of Aswagandha. The other composition includes Safed musali, Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia), Harda, Turmeric, Licorice, bark of Arjuna, Sandal wood, sweet flag, elaichi, cinnamom, dry ginger, pepper, long pepper, honey and many more.
  
  Indication: Psychosomatic disorders like epilepsy, insanity and also in piles. Besides it is an energetic one and promotes body growth.
  
  

• Balarista: An alcoholic preparation that named after Bala (Sida cordifolia) which is one of the composition of it. The cheif composition includes both Bala, and Aswagandha. Besides other accomapning ingredients are Jaggery, Castor, Elaichi, Gokshura, Ghee and some more herbs that acts against Vata dosha as described in Ayurveda.

• Chyavanaprasa Leham: The thick sauce (Leha) like formulation, first consumed by the saint Chyavana, and accordingly named. It is one of the most comon formulation, that's used widely for all ages of life. Amla is one of the chief compostion in this case. The other composition includes more than 40 ingredients, where Aswagndha is one.
  
  Uses: It acts as rejuvanator and also increases the body immunity aginst the common clinical symptoms like common cold, cough etc.
  
  

• Godhumadyam ghritam: A ghee (ghrita) based preparation, that is named after the presence of wheat (also called godhuma). The composition includes herbs like Aswagandha, Asparagus, black gram, Licorice, Pepper, long pepper, cowhage, elaichi, cinnamom, coriander, and more along with ghee and milk etc.
  
  Indication: Erectile dysfunction, weakness, Low sperm count and also dysurea.
  
  

• Mahakameswaro modaka: A special form (modaka) of medicinal formulation named according to the God (Iswara) of sex (kama). The name includes also maha, owing to it's great potency. The composition includes Aswagandha along with the purified powder form of some metals like Mica, Iron and Tin. The other ingredients include Nutmeg, dry ginger, long pepper, pepper, Harda, bahada, Amla, cinnamom, asparagus, clove, Gokshura, Licorice etc.
